Apart from the picturesque location and locales in Cebu province there are plentiful attractions that tourists love to see. Cebu City, Lapu Lapu City and Mactan Island offer a selection of popular tourist attractions. There is much natural and historical sightseeing to be done in Cebu.

Situated around 2,000 feet above sea level up in the cool hills of Busay is Tops, a popular spot offering stunning views of Metro Cebu and islands of Mactan, Olango and Bohol. The Taoist Temple in Cebu preserves the teachings of Lao-Tse, the 600 B.C. Chinese philosopher. 81 steps leading up to the temple gets you lighting incense sticks and enjoying serenity.

Cebu Cathedral dating back to 1591 is a major sight-seeing landmark. The structure was completed and consecrated in June 1909. Fort San Pedro is one of the best places to visit in Cebu. As the hub of Spanish settlement it has amazing dimensions and well kept grounds.

Magellan's Cross has been preserved and housed in a tile-roofed kiosk. The roof of the kiosk is adorned with a painting depicting the landing of Magellan in Cebu. Casa Gorordo Museum is located in Parian district on one of the oldest streets in Cebu. Don Ramon in 1980 turned the house into a museum showcasing Filipino lifestyle to feature noted paintings, relics and antiques.
